Chinese Army Develops " SUICIDE " Helmets

the Chinese Military have developed SUICIDE helmets with a Self ? Destruct button in it

In case a soldier is fatally wounded &/or a soldier is about to be captured & doesn't want 2 be taken prisoner he can push the button & committ Suicide

BUT .... The Commander also can activate the self-destructive button if he fears the soldier is a threat or danger somehow to the others OR if he believes the soldier will or has deserted

Im doubting this actually exists from a logical and practical point of view....

I mean how would you actually activate it , by pressing a button?
How would you prevent it from going off accidently if that is all it takes?

I could see someone taking a cyanide type suicide pill but actually blowing yourself up , nah.


And if you were deserting wouldnt you just take your helmet off?
